How to use GPL Times Auto Updater Plugin

  1. Download our GPL Times Auto Updater from here for FREE – https://www.gpltimes.com/product/gpl-times-auto-updater/
  2. Install the plugin in your WordPress website via Plugins > Add New
  3. After activating the plugin, visit GPL Times > Dashboard
  4. Now login with your GPLTimes.com username or email and password. Click “Save Changes”.
  5. If you have entered correct login details, you will see a screen with a green button with “Activated” status.
  6. Now you can update the plugins you have purchased (and has access to download) from GPL Times. Visit your plugins page and check the updates available.
  7. Click on update button to update the required plugin.

Note for Membership users

  • Your daily download limits are also applicable for auto-updates. Therefore if you update 1 plugin via your WordPress Dashboard, the same credit will be deducted from your Plan. You can check your credit limit via My Account > Plans (https://www.gpltimes.com/my-account/membership-plans/)
  • Once your credit limit is reached, you won’t be able to download the updates.

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.3.2+
  • PHP 7.4+
  • WordPress Multi-sites are NOT supported at the moment.

How to Update Manually

  1. Download and Install Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades plugin on your WordPress website. (This plugin is not needed if you have WordPress 5.5+ installed. WordPress 5.5+ users can go to step 3 directly)
  2. Activate the above-mentioned plugin.
  3. Download the new version of the plugin or theme you want to update from GPLTimes.
  4. Log into your WordPress Admin Panel / Dashboard.
  5. Go to “Plugins > Add New” in case of plugin OR “Appearance > Themes > Add New” in case of theme.
  6. Click the “Upload Plugin” or “Upload Theme” button, as the case may be.
  7. Select the zip file with the new plugin or theme version to install.
  8. Click the “Install Now” button.
  9. After the process is successful, press “Activate” plugin or theme.
  10. Done.
